How to start

Our disability and aged care services can be funded through Home Care Packages, with government support available via the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) provides funding for disability-related supports and services for eligible Australians under 65. Home care, on the other hand, is designed for older Australians who need support with daily activities due to age-related issues. While NDIS focuses on disability support, home care packages are tailored to assist seniors with their care needs at home.
Eligibility for a home care package in Australia is determined by an assessment conducted by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). Generally, it’s available to older Australians who need assistance with daily activities and wish to remain living at home. Applicants must be 65 years or older (or 50 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people).
